YOU ARE MY THANKSGIVING

My dear people, today in America, we intentionally recall how much God has blessed us. By him, we have so much from what He has given us in this life. God has endowed us with wisdom, sustained our families, prospered our children, and nurtured our efforts. We are blessed with good health, saved from dangers, and healed from sicknesses. We are inspired in our endeavors and motivated by our successes. We are blessed with good appetite and the capacity to find food. Even though some might be struggling, God's love inspires everyone for a hopeful future. What else can we ask for? Indeed, there's so much to be thankful for.

From the Family Apostolate, I wish to thank you all for your support and magnanimity. I thank you, my team of volunteers and my prayer warriors. And I thank you, our numerous sopporters, donors, and sponsors. You have inspired our works immensely. You have encouraged our outreach and ministries for the orphanage through your donations, your prayers, and by your time. You have brought smiles on the faces of abandoned kids in Africa and given them reasons to be thankful. You answer each time we reach out to you. We do not take any of your commitments for granted. You patronize our magazines, show up for our reatreats, and demonstrate enthusiasm in reading my long homilies.

You are indeed my THANKSGIVING.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving today, in the words of St. Paul, I urge you brothers and sisters, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you" (1 Thes. 5:18). Know this, I give THANKS to GOD for all of you. May you and yours be blessed.
