To come to Jesus, you need courage, but whence it happens, you're never the same. The truth is that Jesus constantly invites us to break away from our entaglements, to overcome obstacles that hinder our frees access to Him. You must have a courageous faith to get to Jesus. Faith gives you the ability to step up from your past. It doesn't matter how long that has been, rather with faith you can say, "If only I can touch his cloak." That is what the woman who suffered hemerrhages for 12 years teaches us, to step out and reach out for healing through Jesus. And the result was stupendous, Jesus says to her "Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you." What an encounter to reflect upon.
